My name is Jay. I write for a living, but I still don’t write enough. First Draft is my stab at disciplining myself to write more often. Eventually I’d like to turn it into a creative writing wonderland, but I’m just now getting back into the swing of consistent writing.
I’m 24 and woefully tech-illiterate, so I figure a blog is a decent enough place to educate myself.
Sometimes I write about recovery, but this isn’t a recovery blog. My life is pretty good, but I started making a mess of it when I was young, and I’m just now learning to be a whole person. I don’t plan on getting too sappy about all that though.
